Stop -check valve (stop-check valve) has both the globe valve and check valve function of multi-purpose valve.The structure is similar to the globe valve, but the stem and disc are not fixed.When the stem drops to press the disc on the seat, it acts as a cut-off valve.When the stem is up, the check valve acts.In pipelines where both globe (or gate) and check valves are required (such as the outlet end of a water pump), or where installation location is limited (such as ships), use stop check valves to save installation costs and space.
